Brady Burroughs

Brady Burroughs is a teacher, researcher, feminist, architect, and book lover in Critical Studies in Architecture at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m currently working toward the completion of my forthcoming dissertation Architectural Flirtations: A Love Storey. With the support of queer and feminist theory, my performative and interdisciplinary research focuses on design education and the intersections of gender, race and sexuality. Through “architectural pulp fictions,” I explore my interest in the critical potential of the improper and unserious to unsettle habitual modes of criticism and question ethical implications of privileged and complicit institutions of the architectural discipline.
